Billing

How am I billed?

We bill on a month-to-month basis per calendar month, based upon call units and optional features. You don’t pay any extra for staffing, upkeep of office supplies, equipment, or space.

What is the price for your services?

This depends on the amount of call units for your account and additional features you would like to request. Our Account Executive will work with you to estimate how many calls you expect to receive and what features you may want. Then we will recommend an appropriate plan and provide you with a quote.

Account Set Up

How do you answer our phone(s)?

When you sign up for live answering services with BES, we assign you a Direct Inbound Dial (DID) phone number. This is a number that rings to our call center and will population your account information for a virtual receptionist. You can either port or forward your telephone number to the DID number, allowing our associates to answer your calls as desired.

Will you answer the phone with my business name?

Of course! When your calls are forwarded to your DID number, it rings through to an associate on our Startel system. Your account on this system is programmed with your company’s information and instructions, including the answer phrase you would like us to use. This allows our employees to act as your virtual receptionist!

How do your associates know about my business?

When you set up an account with BES, our account managers work to ensure we gather the information necessary to begin your account. This information is stored in our Startel system allowing every associate who accesses your account to instructions, information, and any FAQs you provide to us. We also train our staff in many industries, allowing them a level of comfort, ability, and expertise with your clients. This level of comfort allows our operators to act as your virtual receptionist on behalf of your business!

How do I sign up for services?

How do you know a call is coming in for my business?

Our Startel system recognizes the Direct Inbound Dial (DID) number we assign to you and routes your calls to the appropriate account. The virtual receptionist that answers your call is then able to access all of your account information.

How can I make changes to my account?

You can email any changes to your account to us at oncall@businessextensionservice.com. This email is monitored 24/7, ensuring that any changes needed are made within minutes. We will never wait until the next business day! You may also call us at 800-628-7470 and speak with an Account Executive at any time. There is always an Account Executive on call to handle any last minute issues our clients may be having.

How do I get my messages?

Our virtual receptionists can dispatch messages online in real time via our IntelliSite system. Our IntelliSite system allows you to retrieve your messages online, in real-time, at any time. Additionally, we can hold your messages for you to call in and retrieve them, fax, email, or text message them depending on your preferences!
